Visual Arts Audition Prep Class

Private Art Instruction
One-on-one drawing lessons are available for students who are interested in strengthening their drawing skills and building confidence for the BAK visual arts audition. Private lesson rates are $35/hr.

Homeschool Art Classes

January-March 2020
Tuesdays 12:00-2:00pm (ages 10-13)
Wednesdays 12:00pm-2:00pm (high school)
We offer free art classes for homeschoolers, as well as an outdoor art club for homeschoolers in West Palm Beach. Please call 786-237-9167 to register in advance.

Teen Art Classes

Drumming 101

Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:00pm
This beginner’s music class will introduce students to percussion technique, reading music, and rhythm. Learn foundational skills necessary for playing all percussion instruments including hand drums, mallet instruments (xylophone, marimba), auxiliaries, and the drum set.

Beginner's Capoeira Class

Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:00pm
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art often described as a dance or game. This unique art combines acrobatics, self-defense, singing, history, live music, and play. Students will learn the basic moves of capoeira.

Comic Book Art Class

Thursdays 6:00 to 8:00pm
Create your own fictional characters, develop a story, and work towards a finished visual narrative project. From sketches to finalized sequential art, with traditional and digital tools, students will be guided by a professional comic book artist.

Private Art Lessons for Kids

Private art lessons are designed to meet your child's specific goals. You will learn far more and quicker during a private lesson than you would in a group setting, mainly because all of the teacher's attention is given to you, the student.
